grateful grensday: the big 1-0

10. Today I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the beauty of the earth. I've been blessed to live in incredibly gorgeous places in my life. I'm a sucker for changing leaves and, while I think New England is the best place for autumn colors, Oregon has some particularly striking trees displaying fall plumage right now. I'm also a sucker for long country roads, which are plentiful here as well. I have a beautiful drive to and from my house everyday and it definitely does a little to boost those neurotransmitters. It's a blessing. When I got home this afternoon, I decided to walk around the property of our new house for the first time...
{ the tree right outside our house }
{ a few steps from the front door...looking to the north }

{ looking to the south--I love that covered table that's intertwined with the tree! }

We also have a garden out there--it's winterdead now so I didn't bother with pictures. Hopefully in the spring I'll have something great to take pictures of :)
